I completed my Bachelor in engineering and Master in philosophy at Zhejiang University, and obtained my PhD in philosophy from the University of Edinburgh. After spending one year as a postdoctoral researcher at KU Leuven, I returned to Zhejiang University as an Assistant Professor (named ZJU 100 Young Professor in Humanities and Social Science) and is now an Associate Professor of Philosophy. I am also an associate editor of the Asian Journal of Philosophy, a co-founder of the Asian Epistemology Network and a Senior Research Associate at the University of Johannesburg.
My research is primarily in epistemology, but includes overlaps with philosophy of mind, decision theory, philosophy of cognitive science, and linguistics. I have taught courses on the following topics: academic reading and writing in philosophy; epistemology; formal epistemology; formal tools in analytical philosophy.
